Hi, I’m Kristin, the founder & CEO of Chefbook.

I grew up as the daughter of two very busy entrepreneurs. 
Meal times were the one essential thing that kept our family together . . .

Connecting with people through food has been part of my life ever since. But my passion for seasonal and diverse food only started in my late 20s after having a simple steamed fresh broccoli from the farmers market realizing that broccoli is not grey and has a taste. Since that moment of happiness it became my mission to enhance peoples life through food. Food that brings up the same excitement I felt when I experienced the real taste of broccoli for the first time.

But I realized quickly that the recipes I was after aren’t easily to be found. And it became substantially harder after my daughter was born with dietary requirements limiting my choice.

Despite the sheer unlimited amount of recipes online I still struggle to this day to cook the way I want to cook to be the best version of myself and to set my family and our planet up for a thriving future.

With Chefbook i want to empower myself and other home cooks despite our busy lives to make diverse and exciting recipe choices that lead to a healthier, happier life and planet.
